Welcome to Lichtenstyle, a fashion blog based on advocating equality for all in he fashion industry. Lichtenstyle is shaped by a very distinct mission: to show that it’s possible for all people — regardless of size, shape, weight, or color — to wear whatever they want however they want. Confused but curious? That’s the general reaction! Feel free to explore a bit with the following links:

And who am I? My name is Isabelle, and I’ve always been in love with clothing. When I was reeally young, my dad used to pick out my outfits for me, which ended up in situations like plaid on plaid, orange shirts and yellow pants, and this gem:
Eventually, it became my turn to step up and pick my own outfits. Although the first few years had a few hit and misses (think: super-cringey), I eventually started to experiment with new brands, new threads, and new outfits. This is how my love of clothing grew. In an effort to get away from the bad dad outfits of the past, I found my own style and love of fashion. As I grew up, though, I looked to fashion magazines with stick-thin models on the front, and I felt isolated in the field I wanted to go into. This feeling of not fitting in is what has shaped my love of fashion and my personal growth; everyone, regardless of how they look, should be able to express themselves through clothing.
